Why substrate and geometry shape the trial plan

Material response

The coating and substrate interact thermally. Absorption, thickness, conductivity and allowable temperatures all influence the feasible processing window.

Geometry matters

Edges, recesses, overlaps and varying thermal mass can produce different local conditions. Representative geometry should be introduced before production assumptions are made.

Measure what matters

Choose measurement and inspection methods suited to the actual material and required outcome. Process settings alone are not evidence of coating acceptance.
