Start with the production environment
Review part presentation, access, throughput objectives, upstream coating operations and downstream handling. Integration planning can include robotic motion, fixtures, conveyor interfaces, extraction and the control architecture.
Make responsibilities explicit
Define the scope of the laser source, enclosure, interlocks, controls and factory interfaces. Equipment selections, safety reviews and acceptance criteria are established for the actual project rather than inferred from a generic concept.
